FAQs

Q: Are reservations required?

A: Reservation is required for most trips. Walk ons are welcome on a space available basis.

Q: Are the seats assigned?

A: No.

Q: Can I eat and drink on the bus?

A: Eating and drinking is permitted as long as the passengers don’t leave the garbage and that there’s no excessive cleaning required. A clean up fee of up to $100 may be assessed for spills of food and/or drink.

Q: Can I bring coolers onboard?

A: Coolers are permitted as long as they are small enough to fit in the space under the seats.

Q: Can I smoke on the bus?

A: Smoking onboard is prohibited by law.

Conditions

Shuttle driver reserve the right to refuse service to anyone before and during a trip.

Be at the stop 10 minutes before departure time. There’s no refund if the passenger missed the shuttle departure.

A clean up fee of up to $100 may be assessed on mess caused by a spill or vomit.

Rhythm Shuttle is not responsible for delays of connecting bus or rail service.

Rhythm Shuttle is not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, and other conditions out of its control.

Rhythm Shuttle does not assume responsibility for damages, vandalism, or theft of vehicles parked at or near shuttle pick up points.

If available, seat belts must to worn when the vehicle is moving.

Alcohol may not be consumed onboard by anyone under the age 21.

Selected service on the Rhythm Shuttle may be operated by other CPUC-licensed and insured passenger carriers.

Passenger misconduct will not be tolerated (examples including but not limited to: verbal abuse towards driver or other passengers, fights, etc). They will be evicted off the vehicle at a safe location and may be referred to law enforcement.

Gratuities are not required but gladly accepted.

Prepaid fares will be refunded in the event of a cancellation by the provider (us) or a cancellation by the customer 4 hours prior to the trip. Refunds will not be made for late cancellation and no-show.
